A major 6.9 magnitude earthquake just struck off Japan’s coast nearby Fukushima, triggering tsunami warnings. You will remember this Fukushima as the site of a 2011 earthquake which triggered a deadly tsunami that killed almost 19,000 people and took out the nearby nuclear power plants.
