The inventor and entrepreneur is an active tweeter, and appears to be running his own Twitter account, rather than outsourcing it to someone else. Musk has a following of over five million on Twitter, but only follows 54 accounts. Most of them are brands or publications, which aren’t gendered.

Mic published an extensive report on leaked internal emails from Apple employees that discussed the “sexist, toxic work environment” at the company. The anchor of the story, and the incident that apparently sparked an internal email thread among 12 employees, was an account by “Danielle” (a pseudonym), who started a recent workday with what Mic says was “her male coworkers publicly joking about rape.”

Uno de los últimos grupos de mamuts lanudos que vivieron sobre el planeta podría haber muerto de sed hace 5,600 años debido a la crecida de las aguas saladas del mar alrededor de la isla donde vivían, según investigadores.
Su estudio, publicado a principios de agosto por la revista Actas de la academia estadounidense de las ciencias, advierte también que un escenario similar podría poner en peligro la supervivencia de los habitantes y los animales de algunas islas en los próximos años por el calentamiento climático y la elevación del nivel de los océanos.
Los investigadores trabajaron en la isla de St. Paul, lugar aislado en el suroeste de Alaska, otrora parte de la zona que emergía en el estrecho de Bering y que unía el Continente Americano y Asia.
El agua rodeó paulatinamente esa tierra, que finalmente se convirtió en una isla hace cerca de 14,000 años. Actualmente tiene 110 km2.
