Small enough to fit in the cup holder of your Corolla, the robot is described by Toyota as “a miniature communication partner developed to provide companionship.”
Named Kirobo Mini, the 4-inch high gizmo can apparently chat away and even respond to facial expressions.

Tinder Moves Into The Friend Zone

Tinder CEO Sean Rad recently announced his dating app has invested in Hey! Vina, a female-focused friendship network. This is Tinder’s second foray into connecting users that just want to be friends. Earlier this summer, Tinder Social launched, which helps groups of people connect for a joint night out. Rad, a 30 Under 30 alum, is hoping to make more than matches for his 50 million users. He’s focused on learning how platonic networks are built.
