TIL since 16w40a end portal’s rendering has changed.

In the 16w40a snapshot end portals' rendering was changed to be like the end gateways' one. You've all seen how end portals used to render – 3D portal containing 3 layers of particles, the first of which moves the slowest. After the update, though, they resemble a 2D picture that just follows the player's "camera". Not sure if it is intentional or not because it hasn't been mentioned anywhere as far as I know. Just wanted to share this with the community.
