343 Industries has repeatedly said that every Halo game has to matter and Halo Wars 2 may have more riding on it than people think. This being a return to the RTS space, the first simultaneous launch on both PC and Xbox One and attempting to make the Halo narrative a bit more accessible after Halo 5’s story was so connected to extended fiction.

Back in 1999, I remember going to see The Iron Giant when it was released in theaters. Using a mixture of traditional 2D and 3D CG animation, the resultant film was beautifully crafted and quite haunting with it. So the lack of a Blu-ray release for many years felt like a major oversight but now, finally, the Iron Giant has come home.
