Reminder: The updates are going to be smaller from now on

A lot of people expected a bunch of new biomes and structres in 1.11, but I think we should be thankful about how big it was compared to 1.10.

With these smaller but faster updates, we got new content more often instead of having to wait 2 years for another update. And it helps modders since the code doesn't change too much.

The “Exploration” Update via /r/Minecraft

The “Exploration” Update

Can anyone tell me why they decided to call this the exploration update? The only thing they have added related to exploring is the treasure maps, used to find both ocean monuments (Which are common) and the new woodland mansions, which is an end game structure. There is literally nothing in this update that makes me want to go explore.

I like the new features but they really should of named it something else because from what I saw I was disappointed.
