Just a few short years ago, speedrunning was largely about skill — players who could beat games fast required skills largely defined within the limits of the game. These days, the fastest speedrunners rely on injecting their own code into the game using nothing but controller inputs to glitch into the game’s win state. It’s just incredible.

Hace unos meses, el consejero delegado de Twitter, Jack Dorsey, señaló al anunciar la intención de aplicar esta modificación que se trata del "cambio más notable en los tiempos recientes", ya que se busca "ofrecer a la gente la completa expresividad de los 140 caracteres".
Previamente, Dorsey había calificado a este límite como una "hermosa restricción".
Twitter, que ha cumplido una década de vida este año, se ha convertido en un fenómeno cultural aunque encara serios desafíos ante la caída en picado de sus acciones y la desaceleración en el ritmo de crecimiento de usuarios.
