How can I get rid of this blackhole?

http://ift.tt/2cNIVb4

When I go over it my axe (or whatever is in my hand atm) becomes black as well. Not too long ago I made worldedit lag my pc by accidentally missclicking, causing me to change 100000 blocks of air to signs so they all went falling down. Not sure if that has anything to do with it. This made me give up on my world because everything was gone suddenly, there was even an octopus swimming in the air, basically everthing turned to air wherever I went, and now it's suddenly normal again (except for that blackhole).

Seeing the changes 1.11 made that affect PvP in a very good way, can we also please have the hit detection improved in this update?

The title says it all. 1.11 brought a lot of tweaks that affect PvP in a very good way – including:

  • Fixed arrows of harming/healing (very useful for PvP and PvE);

  • Fishing rods that work in the offhand (extremely useful for SG/HG and Skywars);

  • Improved shields (they're not OP as some people think – they're actually much more useful in close-quarters combat now, but they're still balanced);

  • Significantly nerfed natural regeneration (a change that was really needed IMO);

  • Significantly nerfed hunger deplete rate.

As I said, all the abovementioned features will be very good for PvP and even PvE. But enough of that. Let's get to the point.

First of all, let me preface by saying that I am a huge fan of the new PvP – I've been hyped about it ever since the cooldown, dual wielding and shields were announced. Since then, I always come across people that hate the new combat system and almost everytime I end up in an argument with them. However, probably the only really bad thing that even I have to admit is in the new system is the hit detection.

In a nutshell, the hit detection started getting worse and worse ever since 1.8 came out, and right now… it's pretty bad to say the least. And that's why I want it to be fixed/improved in this update, since it really seems to be going in a good direction in terms of how it affects PvP. If the developers would see this and actually do something about it, it would mean a lot to not only me, but to all of us that play and enjoy 1.9+ PvP. Thanks. 🙂
