Having issues with shaders, could I get some help ?

Heya there,

I'm writing here for the first time because I need some help with the shader packs I am using, SEUS(v11) and Continuum (v1.3).

With both (but with the latter especially), I am getting a huge issue where the game looks incredibly "grainy" using 256×256 and 512×512 texture packs.

Am I missing something simple which fixes this ? Or is this a very unusual case which is simply impossible to fix ?

Either way, I'd love to know.

PS: Laptop specs:

i7-4720HQ, 8GB RAM, GTX960M (4GB VRAM), running Minecraft in 1080p, 3GB of RAM allocated to Java.

A high fidelity simulation of the North American Eastern Interconnect known as ERGIS–Eastern Renewable Generation Integration Study–indicates that the system could continue to function in the year 2026, even if as much as 30% of its annual electricity generation and consumption was produced using variable power sources like the wind and the sun.
