Samsung presenta su nuevo smartwatch Gear S3
Samsung presentó su última apuesta de reloj inteligente, el Gear S3, este miércoles en la feria tecnológica IFA Berlín 2016.
La compañía presentó dos modelos de su smartwatch bajo los nombres de Classic y Frontier. Este último con la posibilidad de tener una versión conectada con tecnología LTE, la cual permite que el reloj pueda descargar música y realizar llamadas sin necesidad de un teléfono, y otro con la conexión Bluetooth, habitual en este tipo de wearable.
Además de esto, una de las diferencias más notorias con su predecesor, el Gear S2, es que la pantalla de este nuevo reloj es más grande al tener 46 milímetros de diámetro, en comparación con los 42 milímetros del anterior.
En cuanto a diseño, el Classic tiene un acabado en acero inoxidable, mientras que el Frontier tiene un diseño menos estilizado. En la elaboración de estos smartwatches participaron el relojero suizo Yvan Arpa, junto con el diseñador industrial Arik Levy.
Ambos pueden sumergirse 1.5 metros en el agua por alrededor de media hora y cuentan con un display elaborado con Gorilla Glass, lo que reduce la posibilidad de rayarlos.
