While the platform has been praised for providing cost-effective accommodation, flexibility and competition to the hotel trade, it has been viewed as a threat to property supply in some cities. As more landlords rent their flats to travellers, locals could end up suffering from higher rents and a lack of housing.

Apple’s next iPhone (presumably called iPhone 7) is expected to be unveiled in early September, with retail availability likely towards the middle of the month.
