Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Note 7 earlier this month, which is a phablet designed using metal and glass with a slightly curved edge on the screen. The user interface and apps displayed on the 5.7-inch edge-to-edge screen can be controlled using an S-Pen. The Galaxy Note 7 also has an IP68 rating, meaning it is dustproof and water resistant up to 5 feet for up to 30 minutes. Following the unveiling of the Galaxy Note 7, several reviewers put the device to the test in regards to handling speed, scratches and drops.
Speed Test
Inside of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is a speedy Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor (North America and Europe) or Exynos 8 Octa (Asia) processor. And there is 4GB of RAM built in, making the devices high in performance. That is double the amount of RAM that ships with the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus. However, the iPhone 6S still somehow managed to top the Android-powered Galaxy Note 7 in a speed test conducted by PhoneBuff:
