Uber’s announcement that it will be first to market caps an amazing few weeks for the company starting with a strategic exit from China, where it was losing billions. But for everything Travis Kalanick has done right, he’ll have to now be both smart and lucky as the world’s automakers and tech giants are tailgating him at every turn.

Samsung’s latest phone, the Galaxy Note 7, is the talk of the town right now in tech circles, with just about every reviewer calling it the GOAT. Forbes’ Ian Morris called it “the best Android phone ever.” Chris Velazco of Engadget hailed it the finest device Samsung’s ever made. CNet’s Jessica Dolcourt said it’s the “sexiest large phone ever.” The rave reviews go on and on.
