Most of us listen to our digital music encoded as AAC Lossless files. A few people still hang on to MP3 formats and some are now choosing to listen to music in hi-res format such as FLAC. Hi-Res Digital is a format where music is sliced into much finer slivers when being sampled for digitising from an analogue source into a digital file. Hi-Res audio is perfect for taking original analog studio master tapes and turning them into high-resolution digital files so that every nuance of the recording can be captured.
