PwC Global 100 Software Leaders, 2016: Subscription & Cloud Apps Revolutionizing Enterprise Software

Total SaaS/PaaS revenues of top 50 software companies globally are $22.4B.
Splunk and Workday appear on the PwC Global 100 for the first time, indicating the rapid adoption of cloud-based enterprise software in companies globally.
Salesforce jumped four positions from 13th to 9th, making the top ten for the first time.
Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, SAP, Symantec, EMC, VMWare, HP, Salesforce and Intuit are the top ten software companies worldwide.
Global software leaders’ revenue grew 10% from 2012 to 2014, from $247.5B to $272.2B in 2014.
Subscription-based enterprise software deployments are replacing software licensing, significantly impacting the revenue streams of on-premise vendors.

What are some of the coolest Superflat presets you’ve tried/seen?

It's a 1 block thick layer of black clay, with taiga villages on top. Under it, there's a strange, dark world that is pretty much like normal flatlands, only dark with lava lakes and bits of adandoned mineshaft poking out the surface. Under that, there's a thick layer of stone and ores, and under that, there's a small space with strange gravel heaps and precious ores in the floor. Under that, it's a water world with gravel heaps.

So yeah, what cool superflat presets do you like?

I’ve always wondered what it would take to make augmented reality mainstream. The answer is glaringly clear now – Pokémon GO. The Pokémon franchise born in the 90s has made one of the biggest comebacks of all time. The Japanese cartoon has tugged at the nostalgic heartstrings of the now adults who grew up with it and kids who all have smartphones to get into it.
