By now most people know Etsy – that large online sales platform for artisanal products; but we’re not talking about Etsy here. This is India, so it has it’s own version – an online handcraft marketplace called iShippo; it’s been promoted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi as part of the ‘Make In India’ initiative, but the story behind the company isn’t as “copy-paste” as it may initially sound.
