You Can Still Buy Guns On Facebook — Congressman Wants To Know Why

U.S. Senator Edward J. Markey penned an open letter to Facebook executives Wednesday asking them to detail steps the company has made to reduce gun sales through the social media site and its popular Instagram photo sharing app. The move comes a day after media reports that Micah Johnson, the man who carried out a deadly attack on police officers in Dallas, purchased a gun through a man he met on Facebook.

The world is currently in the grips of an obsession with Naintic Inc’s Pokémon GO, the world’s most successful augmented reality game. It has taken over your social media feeds and your friendly neighborhood park. Police in Australia are issuing statements reminding people to look up from their phones when they are playing and crossing the street, people are being mugged and one man was already fired from his job over it. The game has been blamed on a lot of things, prompting  E! Online, of all outlets, to call it dangerous.
