Llegan buenas noticias para todos aquellos seguidores de la start-up china OnePlus, y es que la compañía anunciaba esta mañana que el OnePlus X, su último dispositivo, podrá ser adquirido sin invitaciones. A partir de hoy, si estabas interesado en este gama media premium y no posees una invitación, no hay problema, ya que puede comprarse sin ellas.
En el comunicado a través de su blog, OnePlus expresa su felicidad al poder eliminar este engorroso sistema de invitaciones al que sometía sus posibles clientes si querían comprar el OnePlus X. Esta maniobra llega 92 días después del lanzamiento del dispositivo, el cual dejó a más de una persona asombrada debido a la relación calidad precio de la que presumía el terminal.
Si hacemos memoria su primer “flagship killer” – tal y como la firma denomina a sus buques insignia -, el OnePlus One, sostuvo el engorroso sistema de invitaciones durante 362 días después de su lanzamiento. Ésto enfureció a más de un seguidor de la compañía que no pudo hacerse con el terminal nada más ser puesto a la venta.
Si avanzamos un poco en el tiempo, nos damos cuenta de que tendrían que pasar 4 meses después de su lanzamiento para que el OnePlus 2 desechara el sistema de invitaciones. Un avance considerable pero que siguió disuadiendo a muchos posibles compradores. En su momento, el OnePlus 2 gozaba de lo último en especificaciones, aunque se criticó la falta de NFC.
En el interior del segundo buque insignia de la compañía china encontramos el Snapdragon 810. aunque en su segunda versión que, según Qualcomm, eliminaba los problemas de sobrecalentamiento. Teníamos la posibilidad de elegir entre dos variantes, una de 3 y otra de 4 GB de RAM. Su construcción premium y características adicionales como el sensor de huellas hacían de éste un interesante tope de gama.
Ya en el día de hoy, con el OnePlus X ampliamente extendido, podemos decir que se trata de un terminal que merece la pena debido a su precio y características. Aunque incorpore un Snapdragon 801 algo veterano en su interior, se trata de un procesador que todavía tiene mucha guerra por dar. Ésto, unido a sus 3 GB de RAM, pantalla AMOLED de 5 pulgadas y cámara de 13 megapíxeles, hacen del OnePlus X una opción muy atractiva.

Xiaomi’s upcoming Mi 5 flagship smartphone will come with dual-SIM functionality as well as support for NFC. This was revealed in a screenshot – shared by chairman Lei Jun – alleged to be of the device’s home screen.
This isn’t the first time we’re hearing rumors of the Mi 5 supporting these features. If you recall, last month we reported on a document from China UnionPay that revealed the NFC functionality for the flagship. And recently, the handset was spotted listed on GearBest’s website revealing support for dual-SIM.
However, those were regular rumors. Given that the information this time has come directly from Xiaomi’s chairman, it’s all but official that the Mi 5 will include these features. And the good thing is that we won’t have to wait long for these to become official, as the smartphone will be officially unveiled in just a few weeks from now.
