Intel Adds ‘Authenticate’ Multi-Factor Security Feature To New 6th Generation Core vPro Processors

Last summer, Intel launched their 14nm, 6th Generation Core processors, code-named ‘Skylake’, alongside Microsoft’s new Windows 10 operating system. As things usually go in the enterprise world, the commercial 6th Generation of Intel’s Core vPro processors weren’t too far behind with increased  security and manageability features included. We at Moor Insights have already talked extensively about some of the reasons businesses may want to to upgrade to Intel’s new Skylake family of processors. We also also wrote a new paper that covers new workplace trends and the performance improvements that technologies like Skylake delivers over systems they’re replacing from about 5 years ago, which we believe are of increasing importance to millennials.

BlackBerry Priv lands at T-Mobile on January 26 for $719.99

We’ve known that the BlackBerry Priv would eventually be headed to T-Mobile ever since last month, when a leaked document claimed as much. And today the “un-carrier” has decided to make it official.

Yes, T-Mobile is about to join AT&T in offering BlackBerry’s first Android-running smartphone. The Priv will become available at the magenta carrier starting on January 26.

To grab one, you’ll pay nothing upfront (as is customary at T-Mobile), then followed by 24 monthly payments of $30. Another option is to go with an 18-month lease, which will set you back $34 every 30 days (but at the end of this period you must return the handset in working order or pay it off to keep it). HTC to make two Nexus smartphones for 2016

Will Google return to HTC in 2016? Photo: Killian Bell/Cult of Android.HTC will partner up with Google again this year to deliver not one but two new Nexus smartphones, replacing those currently made by LG and Huawei, according to sources. HTC has previously teamed up with Google to make the Nexus One, the very first Nexus smartphone — and the Nexus 9, Google’s most recent tablet.
