Oh, Snap: Instant Gratification with Polaroid’s Latest Camera

Some days, I really miss my old Polaroid. I loved watching the magic unfold on the photo paper that just slid out of the camera. I’d wait with anticipation to see how my latest creation developed. First it would look all muddy brown and green. And then slowly, reds, yellows and blues would emerge until the picture finished several moments later. In my head, I can still hear the sound of the motor ejecting the paper and smell the emulsifying process. It represents one of the good things from the 1970s.

Add A Hands-Free Bluetooth Telephone Feature To Any Car

Increasingly, these days, cars come with sophisticated sound systems and built-in Bluetooth telephone devices that enable you safely to make and receive calls while on the move. However, not all of us have new cars and some people positively choose not to have a new car. Indeed, there’s a lot of sense in having a car that you can still maintain yourself and which doesn’t lock you out when the electrics have a funny turn. Thankfully, for those of us without new or ‘advanced’ cars there’s still a way of making Bluetooth phone calls and even listening to music by clipping a JBL Trip to your car’s sun visor.

Oculus Rift Finally Available For Pre-Order At A Pricey $600

The Oculus Rift pre-order website is, at long last, live, bringing the dream of a modern VR industry one big step towards actual reality, representing the first dollars spent by consumers on an honest-to-God retail headset. And quite a few dollars, at that: I think a lot of people watching Oculus were expecting something in the $350-$400 range, but the actual price is sitting at $600, causing no shortage of sticker shock on Twitter and elsewhere. And that’s before you factor in the price of a computer capable of running the thing: something like $1000.
