The full specs of the upcoming LG Nexus 5X leaked out with less than 24 hours to go until its scheduled announcement. LG’s second Nexus smartphone will debut alongside Huawei Nexus 6P at an event in San Francisco tomorrow.
In line with past rumors, LG Nexus 5X will sport Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chipset, coupled with 2GB of RAM. The display will be a 5.2″ 1080p unit with pixel density of 424 ppi.
Just like the Huawei Nexus 6P, the Nexus 5X will have a 12.3MP main camera with f/2.0 lens, large 1.55 μM pixels, laser autofocus, and 4K video capture. The front-facing unit will be a 5MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture and 1.4 μM pixels..
LG Nexus 5X will have physical measures of 147 x 72.6 x 7.9mm. Its weight will tip the scale at 136 grams.
Of course, the usual bevy of sensors will be present in the Nexus 5X. The handset will have a fingerprint sensor and USB Type-C port.
Earlier today, we found out that pricing of the Nexus 5X will kick off at $379.99 when its becomes available for pre-order tomorrow. A 32GB variant of the handset will also be available.

A menos de 24 horas de que se lleve a cabo la presentación por parte de Google en la que presentará sus nuevos dispositivos Google Nexus junto con la renovación del Chromecast, se ha filtrado un documento que han compartido los compañeros de Android Police y que ha revelado las especificaciones del pequeño de los Nexus que se presentará mañana, el Nexus 5X, y ha confirmado tanto como desmentido algunos detalles.
Lo primero antes que nada, veamos la tabla de especificaciones del nuevo terminal de los de Mountain View:
Como podemos observar, muchas de las especificaciones ya se conocían, o al menos se rumoreaban, pero ahora ya son oficiales.
El terminal contará finalmente con una pantalla de 5,2 pulgadas Full HD, un procesador Snapdragon 808 de 64 bits a 2.0Ghz, la Adreno 418 acompañándole y 2GB de RAM LPDDR3. Además de ésto, se confirman otros aspectos como la cámara de 13 Megapíxeles con píxeles de 1,55 micrómetros y enfoque por láser, así como el 4K para la grabación de vídeos. Delante, 5 Megapíxeles con píxeles de 1,4 micrómetros y f/2.2.
Mientras que la memoria ROM se queda en 16 GB y 32 GB de almacenamiento, nos encontraremos con la entrada de USB Tipo-C y el uso de Nano SIM para el dispositivo, el sensor de huellas en la parte trasera y aunque no se ve nada de batería, en la filtración de la Google Store de donde se ha extraído la información se habla de hasta un día entero de duración.
También vendrá junto a todo esto Android 6.0 Marshmallow para terminar de cerrar el dispositivo con todas las novedades que éste trae de gestión de batería y permisos de aplicaciones de terceros entre otras cosas, lo cual lo hace un dispositivo cuanto menos llamativo, aunque habrá que ver su precio final.
Poco o más bien nada nos queda por saber de los nuevos dispositivos de Google más que verlos rodando mañana a las 18:00 en el evento, el cual puede que aún nos depare alguna sorpresa, aunque no tiene mucha pinta de que vaya a hacerlo.

Time to add another item to the list of things that’s been leaked ahead of Google’s September 29 event.
A full LG Nexus 5X spec list has leaked out, complete with feature highlights that look like they’re intended for use on the 5X’s product page. According to the list, the Nexus 5X will offer a 5.2-inch 1920×1080 display with Gorilla Glass 3, 12.3-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, dual flash, and optical image stabilization, and a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter. There’s also a fingerprint sensor on the back of the phone.
Inside of the Nexus 5X’s frame is said to be a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor, 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM, 16/32GB of storage, and a USB Type-C connector. The Nexus 5X’s body reportedly measures 147.0mm x 72.6mm x 7.9mm, which is a bit taller and wider but also thinner than the Nexus 5, which measures 137.84mm x 69.17mm x 8.59mm.
There are a couple of details about that spec list that are sure to jump out at folks, namely the 2GB of RAM and the lack of any mention of wireless charging. First up, 2GB of RAM does seem a bit small for a new phone coming out in late 2015, but it seems like the 5X is the mid-range Nexus this year and the Nexus 6P is the flagship. Meanwhile, the lack of wireless charging is puzzling since that feature was in the Nexus 4, 5, and 6.
