Today, streaming service Tidal has announced a concert for next month that is set to be as star-studded as its own launch just six months ago. The show, entitled TIDAL X: 1020(the date of the show), will feature both celeb co-owners of the company and others, showing that the service is not just for those elite few who control a bit of it. The lineup is headlined by Beyoncé, Jay Z, Prince (a very obvious big fan of the service), Usher, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne (who recently joined as a co-owner), and T.I., and it also features Damian Marley, Indochine, Fabolous, Thomas Rhett, DJ Cipha Sounds, DJ Reflex, Alessia Cara, Bas, Benjamin Booker, Flatbush Zombies, and Justine Sky, the last six of which the company identifies as “rising acts”.
