BlackBerry Priv, el primer dispositivo BlackBerry con Android
Era un secreto a voces que BlackBerry estaba preparando un dispositivo con Android. Bajo el nombre de Blackberry Venice, fuimos desvelándoos toda la información que se iba filtrando de esta Blackberry con Android.
Y por fin ha llegado el gran día. El gigante canadiense anunció sus resultados trimestrales, con unas pérdidas mayores de lo esperadas, pero con una sorpresa muy interesante bajo el brazo: Blackberry Priv, el primer Blackberry con Android. ¿Y el nombre de Priv? Por privilegio y privacidad.
Blackberry Priv es la primera Blackberry con Android
Si bien es cierto que finalmente no se llamará Blackberry Venice, sí que se mantienen las características técnicas que se han ido filtrando a lo largo de los últimos meses. De esta forma la Blackberry Priv contará con una pantalla de 5.4 pulgadas con los bordes ligeramente curvados, además de un procesador Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 y 3 GB de memoria RAM. Por ahora no sabemos más detalles sobre sus características, pero no tardarán en revelarse todos los secretos de esta Blackberry con Android.
Según el fabricante, Priv será un dispositivo de gama alta que destacará por dos cosas: por un lado su teclado deslizable y por otro lado tenemos la seguridad que ofrecerá BlackBerry Priv. En cuanto al teclado deslizable, poco que decir.
Ya estamos acostumbrados a que la marca ofrezca dispositivos con teclados QWERTY y es una grandísima noticia que por fin tengamos un dispositivo de gama alta y con esta característica dentro del ecosistema Android.
Pasemos a hablar del tema de la privacidad. Blackberry ha anunciado que el BlackBerry Priv contará con una combinación de Android fo work y BES12, ofreciendo un dispositivo con un nivel de seguridad realmente alto.
Fecha de lanzamiento y precio del Blackberry Priv
La compañía canadiense ha anunciado que su nueva Blackberry con Android llegará al mercado a finales de año. No han desvelado el precio, pero podemos suponer que costará entre 500 y 650 euros.
Una gran noticia para el sector. El hecho de que Blackberry entre en el mercado Android da un soplo de aire fresco. Ultimamente la mayoría de teléfonos son excesivamente parecidos y la llegada de esta BlackBerry Priv con su atractivo teclado deslizable y con unas prestaciones que lo ensalzan en lo más alto del sector crean un nuevo mercado para aquellos usuarios que busquen un teléfono Android potente y con teclado físico.

Low-end Oppo A33 gets detailed courtesy of TENAA
Oppo may be best known for its mid-range and high-end offerings such as the R7, R7 Plus, or Find 7, but the Chinese company is also working on entry-level devices.
Case in point: the upcoming Oppo A33, which is going to be pretty low-end. This handset, currently known just by its model number (A33), has been revealed by TENAA, the Chinese regulatory agency tasked with certifying smartphones for sale on that market.
The Oppo A33 has a 5-inch 540×960 touchscreen, an 8 MP rear camera with LED flash, a 5 MP selfie snapper, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable storage, 4G LTE support, and dual-SIM functionality.
It’s powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC with a 1.2 GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 CPU, and it runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. The phone’s dimensions are 142.7 × 71.7 × 7.55 mm, and it weighs 145g.
It will surely be launched in China, where it should cost around CNY 800 ($125, 111) according to media speculations. It’s not at all clear if the Oppo A33 will be offered in other countries as well.
