Harley-Davidson’s 2016 Road Glide Special: 813 Pounds of Fun

Call me Sir-Max-A-Lot. I like big bikes and I cannot lie. And the $25,699 Road Glide is a certified Big Guy at 813 pounds. Its strengths and weaknesses are entirely up to the person riding it, though. Some riders like to use a motorcycle to get away from everything and everyone for a bit sans electronics, music and chatter (raises hand.) Others want their bike to come with a BoomBox 6.5GT sound system with touch-screen controls and iPod hook up, a nav system, cruise control, and other extras like the Road Glide Special does. So be it.

Confirmado: BlackBerry Venice pasa a llamarse BlackBerry Priv

Ya es oficial: el BlackBerry Venice pasa a llamarse oficialmente BlackBerry Priv. Ayer adelantábamos las noticias del posible cambio de nombre del que hasta hoy se conocía como BlackBerry Venice. También, según han recogido en PhoneArena, hoy la empresa canadiense ha hecho oficial que se está preparando para lanzar un smartphone Android, si es que hacía alguna falta a estas alturas.

¿Por qué no hacía ninguna falta? En primer lugar porque ya habíamos visto imágenes reales del dispositivo hace poco tiempo, en segundo lugar porque también se vio su funcionamiento en vídeo, y antes de eso se habían filtrado renders del terminal. Vamos, que era un secreto a voces.

En cualquier caso, después de anunciar los resultados fiscales de la empresa para el segundo trimestre de 2015, John Chen confirmó el nuevo nombre del dispositivo, y de paso también aprovechó para mencionar que este nuevo terminal combina “lo mejor de la seguridad y la productividad de BlackBerry con el ecosistema en expansión de Android”. Además, el BlackBerry Priv está fabricado con la idea de proteger la privacidad del usuario, de ahí su nombre.

En palabras del fabricante, el BlackBerry Priv será un flagship dirigido no sólo a usuarios en general, sino también buscando recuperar a los usuarios del mundo corporativo, para los que espera aportar características de seguridad de primer nivel. BlackBerry planea lanzar el BlackBerry Priv antes de final de año en los principales mercados del mundo, y se deberían conocer más detalles del terminal en las próximas semanas.

Nosotros aprovechamos para recordar que el BlackBerry Priv ofrecerá una gran pantalla de posiblemente 5,4 pugladas con una resolución QHD, teclado QWERTY deeslizante, cámaras de 18 y 5 megapíxeles, procesador Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 de seis núcleos y 3 GB de memoria RAM.

Por otra parte, parece que BlackBerry estaría preparando otro smartphone con BB10 como sistema operativo en adición al dispositivo Android.

Today we are in fact talking about a shortlist of possible actresses to play Link, not Princess Zelda, in a theoretical upcoming Legend of Zelda movie or TV series. Why? Because in an interview with MTV, Shigeru Miyamoto and A Link to the Past/Wind Waker producer Takashi Tezuka were asked about who might be suited to play some of Nintendo’s biggest icons including Mario, Luigi and Link.
