A couple of days ago, I published a full review of Intel’s latest solid state storage product, the Intel SSD DC P3608. If you’re familiar with Intel’s storage products, you’ll know that the DC in this product’s name stands for “Data Center”, which is the market Intel is going after with the P3608. Although the company has released a number of excellent consumer-class solid state drives recently, including the PCI Express SSD 750—which happens to use the same NVMe controller—the DC P3608 is most definitely not a consumer product. The Intel SSD DC P3608 is designed for enterprise applications and big data analytics, where performance and reliability are key priorities.

In order to achieve healthy growth moving forward, Amazon’s live-streaming service Twitch will take a page from YouTube and allow users to upload pre-recorded videos like Let’s Plays and game walkthroughs. But there’s another announcement out of TwitchCon that I’m positive existing Twitch broadcasters will appreciate: They’re developing their own streaming software called “Gameshow.”
