Yo no se muy bien que es lo que está pasando últimamente en Andro4all, pero parece que nos estamos volviendo un poco locos. Hoy venimos con un nuevo sorteo para todos vosotros, pero “ojo cuidao”, que no sortearemos un dispositivo, si no que serán dos los smartphones que te podrás llevar.

Email is still one of the most popular ways of correspondence, but sometimes an email arrives that you just don’t want to see, specifically when it comes from the same address over and over again. Luckily for Gmail users, a big change is coming to help with that.
Google has announced that Gmail for Android is picking up a pair of new features in the next week (it’s already available on the web). The first of which is “block,” which, as the name implies, will let users block a sender so that any future emails that they receive will immediately go into the Spam folder. This is certainly a welcomed addition, and for anyone that wants to unblock someone, that can be handled from the Settings option in the app.
And, if that wasn’t enough, Gmail is also picking up the unsubscribe feature in the app, which means that users can delist themselves from eligible mailing lists right from the app. Ditching a newsletter will hopefully be much easier than ever before on a mobile device.
Gmail’s update should be rolling out over the next week, so keep an eye out for those new features.

Today Google is announcing the latest update to Gmail for Android. The app gains two new features, both of which should help your Inbox be less cluttered by useless communications.
First up, there’s “Block Sender”. In any message, hit the options menu and choose this if you don’t want to see any more emails from that particular address. After you pick this option, all future emails from that address will go straight into your Spam folder, thus never bothering you again. This is available today in Gmail on the Web and will roll out to the Android app “in the next week”.
Unsubscribe is already out on the Web, but Google is saying it will make its way to Android as well. Just like its name implies, this feature lets you easily opt out of certain mailing lists directly from the app. You just tap on the options menu and choose Unsubscribe when you’re viewing such a newsletter.

Toshiba today has announced the followup to the company’s original Chromeboook 2, an *ahem* updated Chromebook 2.
The new Chromebook 2 launches this October starting at $329 and goes up to $429, depending on which model you purchase. Base specs include a 8.5 hour battery, 13.3-inch full HD display, backlit keyboard, 802.11ac WiFi, one USB 2.0 and one USB 3.0 port, up to 4GB of RAM and an Intel Celeron Processor. For more money, users will see a major processor bump up to a 5th gen Intel Core i3.
Look for the new Toshiba Chromebook 2 to launch at major retailers in just a few weeks’ time.

Mi Mobile es el nombre la operadora móvil virtual de Xiaomi. En la marca china están que no paran, y aparte de anunciar el que será su próximo flagship, el Xiaomi Mi 4c, del que ya se conocen precio y especificaciones, ahora quieren presentar batalla a las operadoras de su país –a saber: China Mobile, China Unicom y China Telecom– con esta nueva aventura.

Sin embargo, todo parece apuntar a que Mi Mobile no será una competencia real. Si nos paramos a mirar los números por clientes lo que obtenemos es lo siguiente:
Si sumamos los números de las tres operadoras obtenemos 1.300 millones de clientes en un país de 1.370 millones de habitantes. Esto es un buen número de personas ya reclutadas repartidas entre las tres operadoras más grandes. Aparte de esto Mi Mobile, siendo una operadora móvil virtual, tendrá que alquilar red a una de las tres grandes, pero que Mi Mobile llegue a china es un concepto innovador.
Con Mi Mobile llegarían las OMV al Gigante Asiático, lo que significa que se podría crear un gran cambio en el panorama móvil chino: con una OMV la gente con menos ingresos tiene más posibilidades de acceder a mejores prestaciones en tarifas móviles por menos dinero, y de esta forma las grandes operadoras tendrían que mejorar más rápidamente.

En cuanto al modelo de tarificación, hay dos opciones distintas: Una que cobra al usuario según su consumo de voz, datos y mensajes de texto, 0,10 yuan –unos 2 céntimos de euro– por minuto, mensaje y MB de datos. La segunda opción cuesta 59 yuan –unos 8,30 euros– al mes, por la que se ofrecen 3 GB de datos móviles al mes, y con la que se mantienen los 0,10 yuan por minuto y mensaje de texto.
El 23 de septiembre entra en vigor el plan según consumo, mientras que el plan de consumo mensual empieza a funcionar a partir del mes de octubre. Como ya es habitual cada vez que hablamos de Xiaomi, los planes sólo se podrán contratar online.
