Destiny: Xur’s ‘Three of Coins’ Exploit Is What I Love About This Game
Gamers can be a strange sort. We seem, in a strange way, to do anything to not have fun. When presented with what appears to be an enjoyable world and some tools for moving through it, but we possess an almost preternatural ability to render any game task into a rote chore through exploits. If we can kill the same monster over and over again to raise whatever stat in whatever way, we’ll do it, at least until it’s patched. Destiny is a prime example of this, but it’s one of the things that I actually love about the game. And we’re seeing it in full force with the Xur’s “Three of Coins” exploit, the exploit du jour and just another way to cheat the game.
