Xiaomi Mi 4c will finally be unveiled on September 22

The Xiaomi Mi 4c has been leaked and rumored a lot over the past few weeks, and in just a few days it will finally become official. The Chinese smartphone maker has announced that it’s holding an event on September 22, during which it will introduce the Mi 4c to the world. This exact date was already mentioned in a past leak.

The handset has been rumored to arrive as a slightly beefed up version of the Mi 4i that launched in India earlier this year. So far we’ve heard that the Mi 4c will be sold only in China, but that may change in the future.

According to the TENAA certification that it’s already received, the Mi 4c will be identical in looks to the Mi 4i, and it will have the same dimensions too. The new things it brings to the table are thus all under the hood.

The Mi 4c is expected to sport Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 808 SoC with a hexa-core CPU, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage, or 3GB of RAM paired with 32GB of storage. There will also apparently be a 64GB model, but it’s unclear how much RAM it will have.

Otherwise the Mi 4c sports the same internals as the Mi 4i. It has a 5-inch 1080p touchscreen, a 13 MP rear camera with dual-LED flash, a 5 MP selfie snapper, LTE support, and a 3,120 mAh battery. Unlike the Mi 4i however, the Mi 4c will ship running Android 5.1.1 Lollipop underneath Xiaomi’s own MIUI 7 layer.

The Xiaomi Mi 4c will apparently start at CNY 1,499, which is about $235 or €207 at the current exchange rates.

AmazFit, Así es la nueva pulsera inteligente de Xiaomi

A estas alturas de la película, no hace falta recordar que la primera pulsera inteligente de Xiaomi, la Mi Band, es uno de los dispositivos más vendidos en todo el mundo. Quizás este es el wearable más vendido y que mejor éxito ha tenido, al igual que la pulsera inteligente FitBit.

La Mi Band no es que sea una pulsera muy bonita ni la mejor del mercado, pero cumple con su deber. Es ligera, barata y se conecta fácilmente a nuestro dispositivo móvil, además es compatible en las plataformas más utilizadas, iOS y Android. Esto hace que el usuario que quiera entrar en el mundo de los wearables por primera vez, compre el dispositivo de Xiaomi ya que, como hemos dicho anteriormente, cumple con lo que una pulsera inteligente tiene que hacer hoy en día: Contar los pasos, calorías quemadas, horas de sueño, etc…

AmazFit, la nueva pulsera inteligente de Xiaomi

Pues bien, son muchos, entre los que me incluyo, los que esperaban la presentación de la segunda generación de la famosa pulsera inteligente. Hoy Xiaomi tenía un evento en el que, el fabricante chino ha aprovechado para presentar a su nuevo wearable, la AmazFit.

No se trata de la segunda generación de la Mi Band, sino que Xiaomi amplia su catalogo de dispositivos wearables con esta pulsera. Lo más curioso de este nuevo wearable es que, su diseño es muy similar a un reloj circular. Además, el diseño es mucho más elegante y la pulsera contiene correas intercambiables, sensores y materiales ultrarsistentes

Si miramos un poco las especificaciones de esta pulsera inteligente, vemos como AmazFit, incorpora la tecnología Bluetooth 4.0 para gastar menos batería y poder conectarse a la aplicación Xiaomi MiFit para sincronizar la actividad diaria. Otras de las características importantes de este wearable, son, su sensor cardíaco, la tecnología IP68 para ser resistente al agua, Wi-Fi y una batería de 15 mAh que promete tener 10 días de uso.

Este dispositivo se lanzará oficialmente a principios del mes que viene y estará disponible en los colores: dorado, negro y/o blanco. El precio de la Xiaomi AmazFit será de 41 €, una subida de precio con respecto a la primera generación de la Xiaomi Mi Band. AmazFit, nos da un toque más elegante que nos da la actual generación de la Mi Band, siendo más potente y con algunas características importantes que la Mi Band carece, como el sensor de ritmo cardíaco. Además la pulsera tiene un nuevo diseño más a la moda actual lo que puede llegar a otro tipo de usuarios menos deportistas. Y a vosotros, ¿ Qué os paree la AmazFit ?
