A new LG device was caught in the database of the GFXBench benchmark for Android. Right now it’s known only by its model number, which is H740.
The LG H740 is an upcoming mid-range phablet, by the looks of the specs which have been revealed by the aforementioned benchmark.
It has a 5.7-inch 1080p touchscreen, a 12 or 13 MP rear camera with LED flash and 1080p video capture support, a 5 MP selfie snapper (also with 1080p video recording), 2GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS, an accelerometer, compass, and pedometer.
It’s powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 615 chipset with a 1.5 GHz octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU and Adreno 405 GPU. It runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
LG has scheduled an event for October 1 in New York City, during which it’s expected to unveil its next flagship offering, which could be the already leaked V10. That said, the H740 might become official on the same occasion too.

Adobe is set to announce its fiscal Q3 2015 earnings on September 17th. (Fiscal years end with November.) While the company delivered $1.162 billion in revenues in Q1, which is at the high end of its targeted range of $1.125 billion to $1.175 billion, its non-GAAP earnings per share of $0.48 exceeded its guidance. Adobe’s core cloud business continued to deliver results as cloud adoption remained robust across both its Creative Cloud offering and its marketing solutions.

Los primeros relojes inteligentes que llegaron al mercado no destacaban especialmente por su diseño. Con Motorola y su Moto 360 cambiaron las cosas. Un reloj con pantalla circular que marcaba un antes y un después en el mercado. Y por fin Samsung ha apostado por este tipo de diseño.
Cuando tuvimos la oportunidad de probar el Samsung Gear S2 en la última edición de la IFA de Berlín, las sensaciones fueron inmejorables. El primer smartwatch circular de la compañía coreana llega pisando fuerte y, en mi opinión, es la mejor opción si buscas un reloj de calidad, con buenos acabados y sobretodo con un software realmente atractivo.
Realmente el Gear S2 destaca por su diseño elegante y cuidado. Un dispositivo agradable al tacto y que a simple vista parece un reloj convencional. Algo que personalmente agradezco. Además Samsung no solo ha cuidado el diseño.
Una muestra de ello es su pantalla Super AMOLED que ofrece una nitidez realmente buena, más si tenemos en cuenta que su pantalla circular es de 1.2 pulgadas con una resolución de 360 x 360 píxeles. Además Samsung ha integrado una esfera que permite movernos por las diferentes opciones sin necesidad de tocar el cristal de la pantalla. De esta manera no se llenará de huellas como sí pasa con los relojes de la competencia.
Técnicamente no varía mucho respecto a sus competidores: procesador de doble núcleo, 512 MB de memoria RAM, 4 GB de almacenamiento interno, resistente al agua… lo típico en un reloj inteligente. El punto interesante llega con su sistema operativo. Y es que Samsung ha decidido apostar por su propia solución, huyendo de Android Wear. En este caso el fabricante ha utilizdo su softrware Tizen, que por lo que hemos podido comprobar, es un SO bastante completo.
Podremos interactuar con nuestro teléfono activando diferentes funciones a través de comandos de voz o activar aplicaciones como S Health, Find my Device, Nike+ Running entre otras opciones.
Además si no quieres llevar tu teléfono encima hay una versión 3G que incluye una ranura para tarjeta SIM y que permitirá utilizar el Samsung Gear S2 como un reloj autónomo, sin necesidad de vincular un teléfono.
Se espera que el Samsung Gear S2 llegue al mercado a lo largo del mes de octubre a un precio de 349 euros para la versión convencional y 449 euros para el modelo con conectividad 3G. Habrá que esperar a probar la autonomía de este reloj, uno de los aspectos en los que este tipo de dispositivos cojea más, para ver si cumple con las necesidades del día a día.

Last week OnePlus used its social media accounts to tease the fact that “something luxurious” would be coming. “A bit of welcome luxury”, the company boasted.
At the time we assumed we’d see a leather back cover for the OnePlus 2, but that’s not the case. See, in this case all the hubbub was actually about a case. A leather case for the OnePlus 2, that is.
