HTC One A9 reportedly launching with Marshmallow and Sense 7

Plenty of rumors have pegged HTC as prepping to launch a new flagship by the end of the year, dubbed the HTC One A9. The move isn’t terribly surprising, considering the lack of sales from the One M9 as well as HTC’s new focus on flagship devices. Now leaker @LlabTooFeR has revealed that the One A9 will come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box in addition to HTC’s Sense 7 overlay.

While not shocking news, it does seem to confirm that the One A9 will launch after Android Marshmallow, and will likely be one of the first devices to ship with it out of the box. In the past, we’ve seen manufacturers launch phones with outdated versions of Android upon launch, so it’s good to see HTC working to keep its phones up to date right from the get-go.

Award-winning photographer takes Galaxy S6 edge+ camera for a spin

Award-winning fine art photographer Peter Lik took the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ for a photographic tour of the US. He then showed off the shots at the launch event in Shanghai, China, and is preparing another exhibit of landscape photographs taken during his travels in China.

“I always want to push the boundaries of photography, both personally and with the best technology. That is why I use the Galaxy S6 edge+ as my phone camera,” said Peter Lik.

He has been rising in popularity since 2014 when his shot titled “Phantom” sold for $6.5 million, the most expensive photograph ever. He has tallied up over $500 million with his photography.

ZTE V5, nuevo phablet de gama media premium y económico

Hoy os presentamos el ZTE V5, un nuevo phablet para la gama media que como de costumbre, destaca por contener unas especificaciones técnicas muy interesantes, y un precio que lo hace realmente tentador. Con sus 5,5 pulgadas en resolución Full HD, este terminal de la firma china es grande pero no solo por fuera, sino también por dentro, como veremos a continuación. Además, a simple vista llama la atención por su diseño, con un aspecto bastante premium.

Hace uso del SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 615, es decir, una solución con CPU de 8 núcleos y GPU Adreno 405, que se apoya sobre 2 GB de memoria RAM. Su almacenamiento interno es de 16 GB, que podremos ampliar, si lo deseamos, mediante tarjetas microSD de hasta 128 GB. Para las cámaras de fotos, se ha utilizado en la principal un sensor de 13 megapíxeles con flash LED, 5 lentes y apertura f/2.2, y una secundaria en la parte frontal de 5 megapíxeles con gran angular, que se va hasta los 88 grados.

Debemos destacar también su gran batería, de 3000 miliamperios, y su completo apartado de conectividad sumado a una buena lista de sensores, incluyendo el de lector de huellas dactilares, lo que aporta ese extra de seguridad que nunca está de más. En cuanto al software, llega con la última versión del sistema en circulación, Android 5.1 Lollipop, aderezado con la capa de personalización de ZTE, Nubia UI, en su versión 3.0.

Sin duda, se trata de una cantidad bastante ajustada teniendo en cuenta todas las características y especificaciones que hemos mencionado, como la gran pantalla Full HD, el potente hardware con el que no se resistirá ninguna app ni juego, una gran batería, sensor de huellas dactilares, o el software, actualizado a la última.
