Alcatel OneTouch Watch makes its way to India

Many, many months after it was announced at CES, the Alcatel OneTouch Watch is now official for the Indian market too. It will be exclusively sold by Flipkart, priced at INR 7,999 (that’s $120 or €106). Interestingly, the pricing is more aggressive in India than in the US, where the recommended value is $149.99. That’s not a situation we see often in the mobile world.

The Alcatel OneTouch Watch doesn’t run Android Wear as you might expect. Instead it’s powered by a different solution developed by Alcatel for it. It does however work with both Android smartphones as well as iPhones, through dedicated apps.

The smartwatch has a 1.22-inch 240×240 touchscreen with oleophobic coating, it’s powered by the STM429 chipset, and it’s got a 210 mAh battery. Also in tow is Bluetooth 4.0 support, and it has an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance.

Sensor-wise you get an accelerometer, an altimeter, a gyro, an e-compass, as well as a heart rate monitor. It’s compatible with devices running Android 4.3 or newer and iOS 7 or later. It’s 10.5mm thick, and the watch face has a diameter of 41.8mm.

4 Things To Expect From Microsoft’s Surface Pro 4

Earlier this week Apple held its big media event and unveiled the iPad Pro—a larger tablet with a keyboard cover and stylus which all look very much like an intentional move to copy the Microsoft Surface Pro 3. Imitation being the sincerest form of flattery and all, I suppose Microsoft should feel grateful. If the rumors are true, though, Microsoft will soon launch a new version—the Surface Pro 4—and that should raise the bar for Apple to strive for.

Nibblers, el nuevo juego de puzzle desarrollado por Rovio

King, compañía desarrolladora del polémico Candy Crush Saga impuso sin intención alguna, un nuevo subgénero dentro de los puzzles en el que miles, millones de usuarios agotarían sus baterías y hasta tarjetas de crédito con tal de llegar lo más lejos posible.

Por supuesto, cuando algo triunfa salen imitadores, y es cuando surgieron Maléfica Free Fall y Jolly Jam, dos compañías y juegos muy distintos pero manteniendo la esencia, con tal de llevarse un buen puñado de fieles seguidores de Candy Crush.

Cuando pensábamos que todo había terminado, en el día de hoy Rovio, una vez más, ha repetido la misma jugada y ha sacado un nuevo juego, ¿adivinas con qué subgénero y ambientación? Sí, otro Candy Crush.

Nibblers, el nuevo juego de Rovio

Tras el lanzamiento de Angry Birds 2 llega Nibblers, otro ‘candy crush’ con aspecto relativamente infantil en el que tendremos que combinar fruta de todo tipo para lograr puntos y seguir avanzando por los más de 200 niveles que ofrece el título.

Hasta aquí todo parece similar que cualquier otro juego por el estilo. Las diferencias que encontramos es que, en la jugabilidad debes hacer ciertas combinaciones para derrotar a los malvados lagartos que tratarán de frenar nuestro avance a toda costa. Sí, una vez más los movimientos son limitados.

Por otra parte, cada diez niveles aparecerá una especie de jefe de zona o final que, para derrotar deberemos hacer mortales combinaciones de fruta que desciendan su vitalidad y, si resulta que lo logramos antes de terminal los movimientos podremos seguir avanzando en el interminable mundo cargado de niveles que nos propone Rovio.

Aunque la temática es la habitual en este tipo de juegos para dispositivos móviles, a quienes les guste la jugabilidad será un añadido más por el que alternar esas partidas del conocido Candy Crush Saga y prolongar la diversión. Así mismo, quienes detesten esta jugabilidad encontrarán un título muy similar y sin ningún añadido o innovación.

Poco a poco Lenovo está haciéndose un hueco en el mercado español. Los productos del fabricante asiático destilan calidad y, sabiendo que en breve todos los teléfonos de Lenovo llegarán bajo la marca Motorola, estamos seguros que se convertirán en un referente en nuestro mercado.

Hoy os voy a hablar del Lenovo Vibe P1, uno de los últimos teléfonos que llegarán al mercado bajo el nombre Lenovo y que nos ha dejado muy buenas sensaciones. ¿Te vas a perder nuestro análisis en vídeo del Lenovo Vibe P1?

El diseño del Lenovo Vibe P1 es espectacular. Su cuerpo de aluminio denota calidad. Además el teléfono es bastante agradable al tacto. Como habréis podido ver en el vídeo en el que analizamos al Lenovo Vibe P1, se nota el mimo con el que el fabricante ha cuidado su  nuevo teléfono.

Un detalle muy interesante es el botón situado en el lateral izquierdo del nuevo teléfono de Lenovo. Y es que este botón sirve para activar el modo ahorro de energía, además de permitir utilizar su batería de 5.000 mAh para cargar otros dispositivos. Simple y efectivo.
