KGI claims the upcoming iPhone 6s will offer the same storage options as the current generation

As most of you surely know, Apple has set its grand unveiling event for September 9 and with IFA press conferences all but over, the industry is channeling its attention to the upcoming iPhone 6s. Rumors and speculations about the device have been more than plentiful and today a brand new twist might reveal yet another piece of the puzzle.

Ming-Chi Kuo, who is an analyst working at KGI Securities allegedly sent out a memo to his investors, claiming that the next iPhone due – the 6s and 6s Plus, will be offered with the same storage options as the current generation. That would mean 16GB, 64GB and 128GB. If the rumor is true then it is most likely based on some inside information and is thus quite plausible.

This, however raises a rather interesting question. Another prevailing rumor for the new iPhone is that it will bring a camera upgrade, bumping resolution up to 12MP. This would, of course, allow the phone to capture 4K video and it only makes sense that Apple will make the option available in order to catch up to Android competitors. 16GB, however, is fairly limiting and the even the owners of the current models are already struggling with this sort of storage. Without a memory card slot, 4K just seems ludicrous on a basic model and it is interesting to see how Cupertino handles the situation.

Other than that, we are fairly sure of a few other aspects of the new iPhone. For one, it should be housed in the same chassis as the current generation as was the case with most previous “s” iterations. However, the iPhone 4s did prove that that was not set in stone and given the addition of a new camera on the back, as well as a better 5Mp one on the front, like another rumor suggests, could introduce the necessity for a slightly thicker. Hopefully, this won’t be the case and current accessories will remain compatible. Force Touch is also almost definitely going to find its way into the handset and so will a new and improved A9 chip. RAM, however, will likely remain at 1GB.

As for pricing and availability, industry sources have already claimed a September 11 preorder date and most-probably and unchanged price…

Obama Puts Alaska At Epicenter Of Climate Change With Big Oil’s Blessing

President Obama has ventured where no other U.S. president has gone before — the Arctic Circle. But his trip there coincides with another ethereal cause where no other leader of the Free World has traveled: the curbing of climate change and the attempts to win approval in Congress and the courts.

Escaping The Danger Of Peak iPhone

Can Apple’s iPhone empire grow any bigger? Can the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus outsell previous  models to be ‘the most successful iPhone ever’? Can there be any more users out there who have been waiting until this very moment to get their first iPhone? Or have we passed peak iPhone and it is all downhill from here on in?

iPad Pro: What To Expect On September 9th

Disclosure: I own a few shares of Apple stock.
At an Apple event on September 9th, the Cupertino giant is expected to announce the new line of iPhones, a brand new Apple TV, Apple Watch Sports bands and the iPad mini 4. Now sources with 9to5Mac are reporting that Apple will also introduce the 12.9-inch “iPad Pro” at the same event. However, the “iPad Pro” is likely going to start shipping in November after pre-orders begin in October.
Generally, Apple announces its new line of iPads in October every year. By introducing the “iPad Pro” in September, developers will have time to build apps specifically for the larger-size tablet by the time it arrives in stores.
Even though 9to5Mac’s sources said that the “iPad Pro” will debut next week, Apple could still potentially host an event in October to announce it. There are rumors floating around that Apple may potentially unveil a 21.5-inch iMac with a 4K display in October too.
Rumored “iPad Pro” Tech Specs
With a 12.9-inch display, the “iPad Pro” — which will compete against Microsoft’s Surface Pro 3 — is larger than the 11-inch MacBook Airs and about the same size as the 13-inch MacBook Pros. The resolution on the “iPad Pro” is believed to be 2732×2048 at 263-pixels-per-inch. The “iPad Pro” is rumored to have an A9 processor, 2GB RAM, USB 3.0 ports, a stylus that supports Force Touch and speakers on both sides of the device. There is speculation that the storage options for the “iPad Pro” will range from 64GB to 512GB. And the “iPad Pro” is expected to have iOS 9.1 installed out of the box when it starts shipping in November.
What about the iPad Air and iPad mini?

Fantasy Football 2015: Yahoo!, CBS and ESPN Adopt Different Business Strategies To Target Growth

As the fantasy football marketplace continues to explode, America’s three largest fantasy football websites — Yahoo, CBS, and ESPN — once again find themselves competing for full-season fantasy football participants against national fantasy football competitions such as the Fantasy Football Players Championship.  In addition, Yahoo! and CBS have now jumped into the “daily fantasy football” marketplace — competing against companies such as FanDuel to offer shorter duration, albeit perhaps legally riskier, versions of fantasy football.

Huawei Mate S Force Touch
