There are lots of ways to spy on baby monitors
Baby monitors are a lot smarter than they used to be. The devices began as little more than two-way audio and video feeds, but more recent models come with sophisticated web services, including app access and remote viewing. But as manufacturers add new features, a new report shows that their security may not be keeping pace.

Sony introduces us to the Xperia Z5 range in promo videos, showcases camera

Sure, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium was the star of today’s show, but the less flashy models have their place under the sun, too. The marketing teams have duly released promotional videos, which were meant to showcase the key features and position the Xperia Z5 and Z5 Compact in their respective target groups.

The first video is big on colors – it shows the three models with all of their available options, including the eye-candy mirror-like Premiums. Design details are also highlighted and a few “serving suggestions” hint at possible accessories.

The plain Xperia Z5 comes next with the focus shifted towards its fast-focusing 23MP camera. Of course, no Sony promo video can go without a mention of its water resistance and two-day battery life.

The Xperia Z5 Compact is aimed at tiny purses, apparently, if we’re to believe Sony’s ads. Fashionistas seem to be fans of ultra-fast autofocus and environmental sealing,…

As the internet and e-commerce drove big change in the 90’s, HaaS is a major driver today. On-demand, many of us can get drivers from Uber and Lyft, a warehouse-full of goods from Amazon.com Prime Now, restaurant food from Favor, Uber Eats, and groceries from Burpy, Instacart,Google Express, or Amazon.com Prime Pantry. But what about home improvement or home fix-it services? IAC’s ( IAC/InterActiveCorp ) HomeAdvisor, who I wrote about previously as I introduced HaaS, is now jumping into the on-demand marketplace with home services by adding the ability to instantly book a contractor. IAC/InteractiveCorp HomeAdvisor led the charge for home improvement HaaS and I believe their new Instant Booking feature solidifies their lead.
