En ningún momento pensábamos que los actuales buque insignia Samsung Galaxy S6 y su variante, el Samsung Galaxy S6 edge tendrían una versión vitaminada y con mayores especificaciones en su interior.
El nuevo Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ no sólo contiene un aumento de tamaño, si no mayores prestaciones, software incluido. Entre ellas, encontramos, por ejemplo, unos renovados iconos respecto a sus pasados modelos y, además, características como la posibilidad de guardar las fotografías tomadas en formato RAW, que mayormente aporta una mejor calidad de imagen frente al clásico JPG.
Si algo destacan los buque insignia de cualquier fabricante, en este caso Samsung, es que son los dispositivos preferidos de la firma, y por tanto reciben el mejor trato en cuanto a actualizaciones de software y firmware. En este caso, el Galaxy S6 edge+ que contiene más características que los otros modelos, Samsung les hace llegar mediante una nueva actualización todas ellas para mejorar la funcionalidad de los mismos.
Las novedades llegan a Corea del Sur, país de origen y entorno principal para el soporte del firmware, pero próximamente deberían llegar al resto del mundo. Desde ese momento, disfrutaréis del nuevo método de pago Samsung Pay, nuevos iconos e interfaz mejorada, Aplicaciones Edge, mejora del audio mediante Amp Pro y mucho más.
Lamentablemente, por un motivo u otro no encontramos rastro alguno de la posibilidad de guardar imágenes en formato RAW o controlar la velocidad del obturador. No obstante, es más que probable que la comunidad haga de las suyas y al tiempo aparezca un simple archivo comprimido que, al ser flasheado con un recovery personalizado se apliquen todas y cada una de las novedades que quedan limitadas al Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+.
Pronto, muy pronto llegará a Corea y próximamente debería aparecer también al resto de países, aunque seguramente termine demorándose más tiempo de lo que nos gustaría.

Sony is saying goodbye to Hideo Kojima with the Xperia J1 Compact Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Edition. The phone is limited to Japan only – Sony’s first SIM-free phone for its home country and essentially an Xperia Z1 Compact variant.
This one is special though – it features the Outer Heaven logo on the back that fans of Solid Snake & Co will instantly recognize. Solid himself makes a cameo on some of the bespoke wallpapers pre-installed on the phone.
You also get two original soundtracks from The Phantom Pain and a ringtone, plus an $8 voucher to get Metal Gear comics in e-book form from Sony’s Reader Store. You also gain a MGS V: The Phantom Pain art book PDF.
