New ‘Diablo 3’ Feature Will Break The Game (In A Good Way)

It never fails to amaze me that Blizzard is still hard at work at changing Diablo 3 for the better in major ways. Most games will continue to patch out bugs or patch in bits of extra content as time goes on, but if Diablo 3 was a human being undergoing plastic surgery, over the past few years it’s been transformed into an entirely different person.

Smart Cities: How Do I Know When My City Is Smart?

A report published at the start of July revealed “widespread ignorance of the UK’s efforts to smarten up its cities.”  The clear focus of the report is on public awareness and perception of smart initiatives and the elusive Smart City itself.  The authors go on to suggest that without the proper support, initiatives will “die on their feet”.  I have just one problem with that.  I simply don’t believe it.

Android’s Fatal Flaw Exposed Once More In Stagefright Exploit

Stagefright reads like a threat from a Mission Impossible movie – nineteen out of twenty Android devices are vulnerable to six attack vectors delivered through the receipt of a multimedia text. The good news is that there is a software patch to resolve the issue. The bad news is that nobody is quite sure when your Android device will be able to install the patch.
