Here’s Where They May Have Found a Piece of MH370

A piece of airplane that appears to match the missing MH370 jet that went missing in March 2014 was found on the island of Réunion, in the Indian Ocean off the coast of Madagascar. It is really is from that airplane, it is way far from where it was last spotted, near the southern tip of Vietnam.

OnePlus will sell its USB Type-C cable for around $5

One of the novel features that the recently announced OnePlus 2 brings to the table is its USB Type-C port. This has already been embraced by certain laptops, such as Apple's new MacBook or Google's new Chromebook Pixel, and it's sure to spread to more smartphones in the future.

The problem with any such new interface is that it requires new cables. When you buy a OnePlus 2 you'll obviously get the necessary data / charging cable in the box, but if for some reason you want just the cable, you'll be able to order that too.

OnePlus has revealed that it will start selling the USB Type-C cable for around $5. This will happen three weeks or so after the OnePlus 2 launches on August 11. So towards the end of August you'll be able to go to the Chinese company's web store and order one of its red cables – with a USB Type-C connector at one end, and the well known USB Type-A plug at the other end. This is what people call 'normal size' USB so it will plug into anything with a USB port. The neat thing about OnePlus' cable is that it will be reversible at both ends.

Apparently the $5 price for the cable is either at or below cost for OnePlus, but the company still wants to get as many Type-C cables out there as possible. And it certainly won't hurt its image given that its logo is front and center on the cable. For comparison, OnePlus currently asks for $9.99 for the microUSB cable made for the…

Putters: 4 New Flatsticks to Cherish

Traversing the green can be a tricky proposition. It helps immensely to have a putter that you feel completely at peace with, one that gives you confidence as you’re staring down a par-saving three-footer. To many golfers, most putters are like exes: You had a great relationship with them at one point but there’s also a reason you two eventually broke up. Even the putter currently in your bag may be wearing out its welcome. Thankfully, club manufacturers keep emerging with new models that are incredibly tempting. They employ the latest weighting and material technology that lets them better stay on track during the putting stroke, soften feel, and generate more consistent performance by getting the ball rolling on target as soon as possible. You have nothing to lose by trying them out in a shop. And who knows? Maybe you’ll find a more perfect mate than your current one.

Sprint’s new Family Share Pack offers four lines with shared 10GB for $100, 40GB for $120

Sprint has seen fit that the mobile market needs another family plan, and so the Now Network has debuted a brand new Family Share Pack to compete with the other major wireless carriers.

This new offer is for four lines that offers unlimited talk and text, while throwing in 10GB of high-speed data that is shared between those four lines. All of that can be had for $100 per month. The family that might need a bit more data for each person, though, can opt to pay $20 more per month — $120 — to get 40GB of shared data per month. Sprint is also offering to waive the per-line access fee for all of the lines as long as you’re paying for the plan.

The catch here is that to sign up for this Family Share Pack, you’ll need to switch four lines to Sprint and then pick up a phone through Sprint Lease or Sprint Easy Pay. To help the switchers out, Sprint is offering to pay off the contracts and old phones, as long as the switchers trade in their old devices at the same time.

The new Family Share Pack launches on Friday, July 31.

What do you think of the new plan from the Now Network?
