Motorola Moto X Style y Moto X Play, la nueva apuesta de Motorola por la gama alta y media

No sólo de gama media vive Motorola. Además del Motorola Moto G 2015, todos conocemos sus terminales “tope de gama”, los Motorola Moto X, y a falta de presentar un único terminal bajo esta nomenclatura, la firma americana ha querido anunciar dos terminales, el Motorola Moto X Style y Motorola Moto X Play, la apuesta americana por la gama alta y media.

Motorola ha sacado bastante pecho al hablar durante la presentación de su nuevo terminal estrella. El Motorola Moto X Style es un terminal de 5,7 pulgadas, con resolución QHD y que monta un procesador Snapdragon 808 a 1.8 GHz, el mismo que el LG G4. Tal vez no pueda compararse en potencia con terminales como el Samsung Galaxy S6, pero en Motorola tienen otras armas.

Nos aseguran que el tiempo de carga del Moto X Style es un 50% más rápido que en un Galaxy S6, algo bastante útil si tenemos prisa a la hora de cargar el teléfono. También han puesto mucho énfasis en su cámara, cámara de 21 megapíxeles que según ellos, es la mejor que jamás han hecho.

Y por supuesto no nos podemos olvidar del resto de características que completan este nuevo Motorola Moto X Style. 3 GB de RAM, 3.000 mAh de batería, 16/32/64 GB GB de almacenamiento ampliables vía microSD y un nuevo recubrimiento repelente al agua.

No han confirmado el precio, pero aseguran que costará aproximadamente la mitad que otros gamas alta del mercado, aunque viendo el precio del Moto X Play, podemos esperar un precio de 500 euros. Podremos hacernos con él durante el mes de septiembre de este mismo año.

El otro terminal presentado por Motorola, es el Moto X Play, un “hermano pequeño” del Moto X Style. Pantalla de 5,5 pulgadas con resolución FHD, procesador Snapdragon 615 a 1,7GHz, 2GB de RAM y 16/32GB de almacenamiento interno ampliables vía microSD.

Pero ahora viene lo mejor, este Motorola Moto X Play cuenta con una batería de 3.630mAh y desde Motorola, prometen hasta 2 días de autonomía, un 42% más que el S6. Por supuesto también cuenta con la misma carga rápida de su hermano mayor, resistencia al agua.

La pre-venta de Moto X Play dará comienzo en España en el mes de agosto a través de Amazon a un precio recomendado de 395€, y durante el mes de septiembre se podrá adquirir en exclusiva con Vodafone

There’s Something Off About This ‘Destiny 2’ Leak

This morning, a reddit thread is being passed around the Destiny fan community claiming insider knowledge about aspects of not only The Taken King, but also Destiny 2 itself. I’ve read it a few times (you can see it here for yourself), and each time it gets a little less plausible. There’s just something off about the entire thing, and at this point I’m convinced it’s a troll rather than legitimate inside information.

Please Stop Saying These 25 Ridiculous Phrases At Work

At first, euphemisms surfaced in the workplace to help people deal with touchy subjects that were difficult to talk about. Before long, they morphed into corporate buzzwords that expanded and took over our vocabulary until our everyday conversations started sounding like they’re taking place on another planet,

Listen Ray, I don’t have the bandwidth for it with everything that’s on my plate, but ping me anyway because at the end of the day it’s on my radar and I don’t want to be thrown under the bus because I didn’t circle back around on this no-brainer.”

I understand the temptation. These phrases are spicy and they make you feel clever (low hanging fruit is a crutch of mine), but they also annoy the hell out of people.

Google Internet of Things Eddystone ‘Beacons’, More Open Than Apple

Google has added another set of nuts and bolts to the mechanics of the Internet of Things (IoT) with the launch of its Eddystone technology. Named after the Eddystone Lighthouse off of the English coast in the county of Cornwall, Google’s Eddystone is an open source cross-platform Bluetooth LE (BLE) beacon format. Apple’s iBeacon technology for iPhones and other iOS devices, which sits in the same BLE space technically, is a comparatively closed platform.
