5 Things That Are Killing Your Customer Experience

Companies have a bad habit of treating customers like a flakey guy would treat a girl he didn’t care about. Once they have the customer, they don’t want to deal with what it takes to manage that relationship. Don’t mis-read me; you are in a relationship with your customers. Are you being the flakey guy? Or are you arriving with flowers and a dinner reservation? Relationships take work. Every company today must work hard to earn business. The only thing that will get you repeat business is customer experience. Other than that there are a lot of companies out there just like you (or on their way).  Customer experience is the only way to differentiate. Don’t let poor customer experiences bring your brand down. Here I’ve detailed five customer experience killers. Don’t let this be you!

LG Gentle offers Android 5.1, microSD slot, and removable battery in flip form factor

Looking for a new smartphone that’s a bit different than the big slabs that we’re used to seeing? Enter the LG Gentle.

LG’s newest Android phone offers a flip form factor, something that we haven’t seen much of in recent years. The Gentle runs Android 5.1 on a 3.2-inch touchscreen and offers 4GB of storage, a microSD slot, 3-megapixel rear and VGA front cameras, and 4G LTE connectivity. It’s also packing 1GB of RAM, a 1.1GHz quad-core processor, and a removable 1700mAh battery.

In addition to those traditional specs, LG has included some extra goodies to make the Gentle easier to use. Those include a soft, rounded body, a large keypad, a dedicated camera button, and a “Q” button to launch specified apps.

The LG Gentle will cost ₩200,000, which is around $171 USD. That low cost isn’t terribly surprising considering the Gentle’s modest spec list, but hey, the Gentle does have both a microSD slot and a removable battery, which is a combination lacking from some recent flagship smartphones.

The Gentle is an interesting smartphone, running Android 5.1 and offering dedicated Android navigation buttons, all in a flip phone form factor. Unfortunately, it’s likely to be released in just a few countries, as these devices don’t have quite the widespread appeal as smartphones with a more traditional form factor.

Xbox Live Is Having Some Problems

You might have some trouble if you’re trying to buy videos or games on Xbox Live tonight. Microsoft’s service for Xbox One and Xbox 360 has been having trouble throughout the day, and while the major sign-in issues from earlier in the day appear to have been resolved, the Xbox Live status page still lists several services as “limited.” The support page says that you’ll have trouble trying to purchase games or other content throughout the platform, as well as launching games that you’ve purchased digitally. The site also lists problems with unlocking achievements and the IGN app on the Xbox 360.
