Alleged Sony Xperia Z4 pays a quick visit to the FCC

It looks like the upcoming Sony Xperia Z4 made its way through the FCC. Yesterday, a mysterious Sony phone with model name – PM-0780 passed the FCC certification process.

The model name PM-0780 is not enough evidence that the device in question is Sony Xperia Z4. However, the width and height dimensions of the handset (5.75 x 2.87 inches) the same as those of Xperia Z3 (5.75 x 2.87 inches).

The FCC certification also briefly mentions the presence of a microSD card. Undoubtedly this smartphone will come loaded with Android 5.x Lollipop bearing Sony’s own lightweight UI.

Previously leaked details of the Xperia Z4 point at 5.1-inch 1080p display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC, 3GB of RAM, 32GB storage, 20MP rear camera with LED flash, and 5MP front-facing snapper.

ASUS India releases a teaser for the upcoming Zenfone 2

ASUS as prepping up for the launch of the Zenfone 2 smartphone in India. As reported earlier, the Zenfone 2 will launch in the country in the middle of this month, on April 13.

As part of the plan, ASUS India’s official Facebook page shared a teaser image. The Taiwanese company also wrote under the image – "It’s April 1 and this flagship destroyer is for real."

Just like the first generation Zenfone, more than two variants of the Zenfone 2 will be introduced with either model featuring a 5.5" 1080p display or 5" 720p display. Similarly there will be difference in the mobile chipset and the available RAM.

For instance, the top end Zenfone 2 ZE551ML will feature 5.5" 1080p display, powered by a quad-core 2.3GHz Intel Atom Z3580 chipset, 4GB RAM, 13MP rear camera, Android 5.0 Lollipop, and 3,000 mAh…
