Se filtran nuevas imágenes del Samsung Galaxy S6 y lo comparan con el iPhone 6 Plus

En las últimas semanas ho ha habido un sólo día en el que no hayamos hablado de rumores que rodean la llegada al mercado del Samsung Galaxy S6, ya sea desde la filtración de sus especificaciones e incluso a una posible funda protectora. Estos rumores han dado pie a toda clase de especulación, pero de momento lo que sí sabemos con certeza es su fecha de presentación.

Hace un par de meses hablábamos de que el nuevo tope de gama se Samsung había conseguido una puntuación altísima en AnTuTu, y hace muy poco escuchábamos lo mismo del Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, del que también se conocieron sus especificaciones. Todo esto contribuye a que la rueda de la rumorología siga creciendo y a que la expectación aumente.

Como pasa cada vez que Samsung está a punto de lanzar un nuevo terminal al mercado, al poco tiempo del anuncio de la llegada de este dispositivo empezaron a aparecer renders en el que cada uno ofrecía una interpretación distinta de lo que el futuro flagship de Samsung sería, pero hoy ya podemos ponerle cara y ojos al nuevo tope de gama de los coreanos:

Este bien podría ser el aspecto final que presentará este terminal cuando llegue al próximo MWC de Barcelona, y han habido quienes han comparado visualmente este Samsung Galaxy S6 con el iPhone 6 Plus, según leemos en PhoneArena por las similitudes que algunos ven entre ambos dispositivos. De momento sigue habiendo muchísima especulación y nada es oficial, así que tendremos que esperar al 1 de marzo para ver cómo termina este culebrón.

Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge details ‘confirmed’ again

For a few weeks we've been seeing an incredibly high number of leaks and rumors talking about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S6. So far it's pretty likely that we'll get an S6 Edge version too, and this has been rumored to have a three-sided screen, not two-sided like the Galaxy Note Edge (which is pictured below).

Today a new report comes to confirm this detail, along with other things that have been leaked recently. For example, both the S6 and the S6 Edge are said to sport "all-metal bodies". So the much rumored glass backs may be out.

The phones will come with 5.1-inch displays, keeping the size of their predecessor. They will be powered by "Samsung's most advanced processor chips", or so say "people with direct knowledge of the matter". This isn't surprising, given how many times we've heard that Samsung won't use Qualcomm chips for the S6, instead opting for its own Exynos 7 octa solution.

According to some analysts, the Galaxy Note Edge was received by the market better than they've anticipated, which means the S6 Edge might be a rather successful endeavor too. And its screen, which covers the front but also the left and right sides of the device, will surely make it stand out in public. Samsung plans to eventually produce a fully foldable smartphone, but until that's possible these curved displays will have to do.

Both the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge will be unveiled by Samsung on March 1 at a special event in Barcelona.
