Samsung Galaxy Tab S llega a España

A partir del 4 de julio estará disponible la nueva tablet Galaxy Tab S por un precio de 399€ la de 8,4 pulgadas versión Wifi y por 499€ la versión LTE. La de 10,5 pulgadas sube en 100€ por 499€ la versión WiFi y la LTE por 599€.

Cuatro modelos que hemos podido tener en nuestras propias manos hace tan solo unas horas y que destaca sobre todo la de 8,4 pulgadas al ser un modelo que sorprende desde la primera vez que se le tiene en la mano, ya que es una tableta que en su conjunto tiene algo especial, que seguro la convertirá en el objeto de deseo por muchos usuarios. Las fotos que aportamos dan prueba de ello.

De lo que hemos podido recoger como más interesante de esta presentación de la tablet Samsung Galaxy Tab S es que tendrá contenido premium tanto internacional como regional. Apps como la propia de Marvel, Livesport o juegos como Cut the Rope 2, Asphalt 8 o Fruit Ninja son parte del contenido exclusivo, mención importante a Wauki.tv para tener un catálogo de 5000 títulos en alta definición, o revistas como Vogue o GQ.

Hay que destacar la app Second Canvas del Museo del Prado para disfrutar de 14 obras maestras en tecnología Gigapixel, lo cual permite hacer Super-zoom para descubrir detalles ocultos, o en formato Rayox X y visión ultravioleta. La verdad que para cualquier aficionado de la pintura es una app que sorprende mucho la calidad que atesora.

Y en lo referente al hardware, estamos ante la tablet más delgada y con mejor pantalla Super Amoled WQXGA con resolución 2560 x 1600 que abarca más del 90% de la cobertura del color Adobe RGB, mientras otras tablets de otros fabricantes tan solo llegan al 70%.

En la parte del procesador un octa core de 1.9 y 1.3 GHz y 3GB de RAM que son el componente que ofrece todo el potencial de rendimiento a esta tablet Galaxy Tab S. El almacenamiento interno parte en dos versiones diferentes de 16 y 32GB con una ranura para tarjeta microSD. Cámara de 8MP para la trasera y 2MP para la frontal. Batería de 4900 mAh para la versión de 8,4″ y 7900 la de 10,5″.

Con el éxito que tuvo Samsung el año pasado con más de 40 millones de tablets vendidas, esperan que sigan creciendo las cifras sumándose a los 290 millones de tablets que podrían venderse en total en el año de todos los fabricantes juntos. Seguro que esta nueva tablet, sobre todo la de 8,4 pulgadas va a ser todo un bombazo ya que es sumamente bonita en todos los sentidos.

Samsung Galaxy S5 Google Play edition leaks out

Whenever a major flagship device comes out, a part of us always wishes that it ran stock Android. That’s why Google Play edition devices were created: to put stock Android on your favorite flagship hardware. This year, the only new flagship GPe device that we’ve seen so far is the HTC One (M8), but that could be changing soon. Samsung Galaxy S5 GPe

As we can see from the photo (right), brought to us by @evleaks, there appears to be a Samsung Galaxy S5 Google Play edition in the works. That’s unsurprising considering that last year’s Galaxy S4 had a GPe variant. One confusing aspect is that the above photo shows a Galaxy S5 running KitKat with on-screen nav buttons above the Galaxy S5′s hardware buttons. We’ll chalk it up to an early leak glitch, but we dearly hope that it won’t look like that in the final product.

Now researchers at the University of Sydney, Harvard, Stanford and MIT, have solved some of these problems by creating a skeleton of vessels and then growing human cells around them.

Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini officially official, 4.5-inch 720p display in tow

After a swath of leaks, Samsung’s Galaxy S5 Mini is official. The S5 Mini offers a smaller alternative to customers seeking the features of the Galaxy S5. Per usual with Mini devices, specs have been trimmed down. The list includes a 4.5-inch 720p display, 1.4GHz quad-core processor, 1.5GB RAM, 16GB internal memory supplemented by microSD card slot, 8-megapixel rear camera, 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera, 2,100mAh battery, and Android 4.4 KitKat with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI.

Like its bigger brother, the S5 Mini is IP67 dust and water resistant. In fact, several features are borrowed from the full-fledged S5, including a heart rate monitor, fingerprint scanner, and that same stippled plastic design. Samsung also made note of the fact that like the big dogs, the S5 Mini is compatible with Samsung-specific wearables.

The S5 Mini is set to launch in Russia in the first half of July, and will come in four colors choices of black, white, blue, and gold. A global rollout is planned shortly after the initial launch.
