Last week, our family went up to Toronto for eight days. We visit cousins and my wife’s grandfather up there nearly every year. But I never remember from time to time exactly how we handle our smartphone use in hockey country. So the day before we left, I called our carrier, Verizon, to see what options we had for texting, talking and data. The first rep I spoke with gave me information that I knew wasn’t correct, based on past Canada vacations. But I later wondered if maybe our plan parameters had changed. So I called back, and got an entirely different story from a new rep that completely contradicted the first rep. Then I started getting paranoid, wondering which rep was right. So I phoned one more time. Then another. And then a fifth time. Three of the reps concurred, so I figured that majority rules.
