Facebook is delving further into publishing.

On Wednesday, the social media giant launched a news and content notification app, ‘Notify,’ which is currently available only in the U.S. on the iPhone. The standalone app allows users to sign up for alerts on topics such as sports, news, celebrities, shopping, movies and music.
