The launch of the iPhone 6S is going to gather a lot of digital column inches, as is the launch of a new series of the travelling Time Lord. It would be a more foolish commentator than me to decide which will have more impact in the world. Look coder though, because the two cultural icons of the century have rather a lot in common.
