Apple is slowly catching up on how the modern smartphone is charged. Last year saw the introduction of wireless charging in the iPhone 8, 8 Plus and iPhone X, and this year Cupertino is expected to bundle a ‘fast’ charger in the retail package of its new iOS smartphones.
