Firefighters on the Big Island of Hawaii rescued one man after lava rolled over his driveway in the Puna region Sunday night. Nearby, lava spread onto the property of the Puna Geothermal Venture and covered at least one well that had been previously plugged to avoid the release of toxic gases.
