Recently I discovered that I much prefer simple, blockish building in minecraft most would consider bad or "flat". I am fine with some details(old minez map) but when things get to the level of detail people like Grian have, for me it becomes too artificial.

I think why I developed this preference was because every server has these intricate lobbies and these amazing builds. Eventually all of them blend together and they become cookie-cutter.

Meanwhile for me each of these simple buildings that anybody can build convey a more "homely" feeling.

So does anybody else share this love for a more "blockish" building style.
