If Steve was real, he’d be the richest in the world

Have you ever thought about how much Minecraft blocks cost?

Did you know that when you're trading 2 emeralds for leather pants, you're buying them for $6,000,000?
Did you know that when you're fighting in diamond armor wielding a diamond sword, you're carrying $40,000,000 worth of diamonds?
Crazy, right? I think you can already guess how rich Steve is

In the game, there are 7 ores that exist in real life – Coal, Emerald, Lapis, Gold, Diamond, Iron and Quartz. Out of all these ores we can create 1x1x1 meter blocks, which consist of 9 of their respective materials. Let's determine their cost based on weight and rarity, then conclude that Steve is, in fact, the richest

Rarity and weight are based on Wikipedia's data. Sorry if some of my calculations are wrong, there isn't much info about quartz and lapis

A coal block weighs 2,200kg, and its cost is $600
An iron block weighs 7,800kg, and its cost is $1,200
A quartz block weighs 2,600kg, and its cost is $198,860
A lapis block weighs 2,400kg, and its cost is $500,000
A gold block weighs 19,300kg, and its cost is $1,000,000,000
An emerald block weighs 2,800kg, and its cost is $20,000,000,000
A diamond block weighs 3,720kg, and its cost is $260,000,000,000

Also, this confirms that Steve is like Hercules in strength. Carrying an inventory full of shulker boxes filled with gold block stacks… Jeez!
