The changes made to the wool texture were a bit controversial but most of them look great after the update. However, a few other players and I noticed that specific ones looked too contrasty and noisy. The soft feel to them had got removed since a soft material is not supposed to have highlights. Here is the after/before.
P.S. I know that this is still a snapshot and most stuff will probably get changed. This is just to get Mojang's attention on features/changes that need polishing. If you think that any of the changes should be altered in some way, write it in the comment section.
