A short rant about Console Minecraft and the devs inability to understand the technical players

I realize that an immediate reaction to complaining about console versions would be to get a PC. Ultimately I agree with that, but putting aside cost of a computer and everything, this post still is relevant to the PC version as well.

I want to start by saying that I think Minecraft is one of the best games ever made, and the frequent updates just further asserts that. IMHO

BUT. Lately I feel like the developers don't have any idea how the more long term, technical players play the game. Either that or they just simply don't want to develop the game for that audience.

Either way there has been a significant effort to remove technical mechanics and glitches that are harmless to most players except the few technically minded minecrafters I mentioned.

I would be able to understand this decision by the devs if they also gave as much effort to fix the numerous game breaking bugs that have been in the game for years.

My gold farm and my guardian farm have both been nerfed by ~%80 since the last update to the point where the gold farm especially is almost worthless.

Again, just my humble opinion, but I would fix 1000 things before I nerfed gold and guardian farms.

If they continue to ruin the game for people who dedicate hundreds of hours clearing ocean monuments and building portal farms, I hope they add enough llamas and 1 time spawning mobs to keep the kids invested.

For now I will continue to exploit the game no matter how they try to prevent me from doing so. I simply ask for a little more focus on polishing the simple mechanics before driving the technical community away.

Thoughts?
